missingvolumeA world where angels fly above us and fight and scheme among themselves. The book follows a year after the previous book, "Angel's Blood" with Elena waking up from her year long coma. She is a newborn angel in an adult body and is desperately trying to catch up as fast as she can to Raphael's strength level and sort out the entire angel culture while being tossed head first in the political world of the archangels and also investigating attacks in the angel's home city using her hunter skills. I liked the book and will keep my eye out for the next one due spring 2011.
