missingvolumeI was saving this book for a rainy day when I needed something to read that I know I will love but I broke down and read it when I found out Kage was dying. The story has a steampunk feel to it but it doesn't overwhelm the story and it also fits into the Company universe without having to know anything about those books. It is a novella but the nice thing is there are other stories coming out that are in this slice of the Company universe. Also the book is coming out as a trade paperback with a new title, Nell Gwynne’s Scarlet Spy and have a bonus story.
