missingvolumeI was stuck on a plane and that was the only reason for finishing the book. The book is told as one very long flashback with the first and last chapters being the setup for book 2. In this world any sinner can be recruited in the war between good and evil. Eve's one time fling when she was a teen enables her to be marked, recruited and fought over by both Cain and Able. I have no plans for reading any more in the series.
