#41 Undertow by Elizabeth Bear

This is a stand alone novel. Not my favorite Bear novel but certainly not a bad read. The set up is good and I would certainly like to see more done in this universe especially since the novel is set on a colony  world and you can still have other worlds to explore along with the the society ideas of changes that were made possible at the end of the book. I really don't want to give away any of the plot but assassinations and native uprisings are part of the book. A good read if you don't want to get invested in a series.
