#54 Duainfey by Sharon Lee and Steve Miller

This is a fantasy based in an Edwardian time frame. The Fey are known in this world and people do interact and conduct business with them. But in this book the Fey are shown as cruel. A nice refreshing nod back to how fairy tales portrayed . This is the first book in a duology. There is come completion to the book but certainly not everything is wrapped up.

The portrayal of elves in Duainfey reminds me of how they were done in "Hellboy II," if you've seen it.

Yea they are like the elves in that movie. Much like the old fairytales. When as the movie put it. People feared the dark.

Yes, exactly. And we're only seven months away from the sequel, Longeye. :)
