#17 Singularity Sky by Charles Stross

I've read a few of his other books and I figured that I would give his SF a try. It has been a while since I read a SF instead of a fantasy of several types that I have been reading. The universe has been populated with many human colonies due to Earth discovering FTL travel and the actions of a Eschaton. He created the diaspora in order to prevent people from traveling back in time to change history. This book deals with the actions on a colony world as something known as the Festival comes to visit. I enjoyed the book and I'll be looking for more of his SF books.

Mine got bad with books coming in from the library and then I had several that I got sent for review. Also toss in some real life and I got behind. In fact the library canceled one of my holds since I didn't pick it up in time.
This one looks like a fun read but I have to hurry with it since there is a waiting list on it so I can't renew it. The geography of bliss : one grump's search for the happiest places in the world.

I'll have to look at the Wilson books but who knows when I will get to them.
