Show list for 2008

Here is the full list for 2008. I've pared down the list of shows I'm selling at this year. Mostly if shows were a long drive and not so great sales I had to drop them from the list. If you know of a con in the southeast you think I would do great at and I don't have it listed drop me a note and let me know.

And now onto the list.

I think I'll try to make Ravencon this year, especially since it's right down the road.

What d'ya think? Is it worth the drive from DC? Will I have a good time? I'm not expecting it to compare to Dragon, of course, nor am I really expecting you to read my mind and my future all at once, but...well...do you recommend it?

In any case, it would be fun to run into you before Sept.

Hubby and I have joked that we should give up vending this show since it gets in the way of staying up all night. Of course that will not happen since the money is too good. But I do sometimes wish for the old days when I went to Dragon to have a good time.

Raven is nice small newer con. This is their third year but they have good panels and it is decently run. I have made enough between sales and signatures to make it worth my drive up to VA. If you haven't been to a more normal convention it is a good one to see what normally happens at them. I like it because it doesn't have the feeling of everyone shutting down once the panels end for the day. Also if you hung out with the Baen people at Dragon several of them will be at this con.

It would be good to see you again, even without the rest of the crew :-) Of course, I've lost track of where everybody is these days, didn't even realize you were in DC.
