#40 The Big Over Easy by Jasper Fforde

This is the start of a new series by Fforde. The book has been out for about a year now. Fforde still have a ton of wordplay throughout the book. The series references several nursery rhymes and but doesn't slavishly follow them to the letter. The only "gross" part was most of the mystery kept bringing up unpleasant foot problems. Not what I really want to ready about. ;-)

This is the one set in Caterham Heights, right?

If so, I'm going to have to pick it up, I quite liked the Thursday Next books.

The only character that is from the Thursday Next series that shows up is Lola Vavoom. Set in a different area and in a police station. They have a regular crime division and a nursery crime division. Book opens up with a failed murder conviction on the 3 little pigs for killing the big bad wolf.
