#130 After Dead: What Came Next in the World of Sookie Stackhouse by Charlaine Harris

There is a lot of hate for this little book and yet I liked it. The clues in the few bullets on some characters gives hope that she will continue to do some short stories in this universe even if the main players are done and set in stone such as Barry the Bellboy and Dahlia. I think if I was to do a reread of the series I would have this book next to me to see what happens to all the smaller cast members as I read about them.

As a plug for the store I also have signed copies of the book available.

If it had been released for free on her website, people would be over the moon at the thoughtful gesture. In a ridiculously overpriced HC which will take an average of 15 min to read? Oh HELL NO.

Even free people would have bitched because of the ending of the series. I agree 18 is too much and I wouldn't be surprised if at some point all this gets folded into a paperback edition of the Sookie Stackhouse companion. But getting it from the library is great.

I was impatient and paid $9.99 for the ebook version and still felt a bit overcharged.

$10 is a bit much for the ebook but then if they went too low on it the HC buyers will scream.
