#74 Once Bitten, Twice Shy by Jennifer Rardin
This is a new book that I got months ago as a promo and to be honest the cover on the promo didn't look promising. I finally picked it up and realized it was fun. Jaz works for the CIA as an assistant to one of the top vampires in the spy industry. She doesn't know why he picked her for the job but she is good at what she does. That Jaz had tragedy in her past by losing her entire team including her fiance and her sister in law. The plus side is she isn't looking at dating her boss. The vampire attack that took out her team turns out to play a part in later part of the book. It makes for a nice reveal of Jaz's past without the writer info dumping all of it to the reader. Nice light reading and I'm sure at some point I will pick up the next one.
