Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

Yea I read this months ago, I just didn't add it to the list. What more can I say about this book that hasn't been said before. I guess I will have to wait just like the rest of the world. And I'll skip the online fan fiction. ;-)

I'll do a few more posts to clear the backlog of stuff I've read but haven't uploaded.

The Quantum Connection by Travis Taylor

I read this one shortly after Warp Speed and didn't log it in. I didn't care for it as much as Warp Speed. The book starts with events that happen in Warp Speed and goes forward. I didn't care for the villains in the book. Just my quirk not a really a fault in the writing. I will read the next book but I don't know when it is coming out though.

The Seasoning of a Chef by Doug Psaltis with Michael Psaltis

Subtitled My Journey from Diner to Ducasse and Beyond. This is a bio of a chef starting from when he is working in his grandfather's diner to working in the hottest restaurants in NYC. It was an interesting peek into the cooking field. The descriptions of food and cooking kept making me hungry. It was an nice quick read that made for a nice change of pace. Anyone who wants to get into cooking professionally for a living this would make good reading.

The irony is that on the back cover they describe the author as the anti Anthony Bourdain. I'm currently reading A Cook's Tour by Anthony Bourdain and I'm liking it for different reasons.

And you thought I was done for the night.....

Last for the evening is logging in yet another 3 J D Robb books. Purity in Death, Portrait in Death and Imitation in Death are the ones I've read. I still haven't been able to get the one book that I had to skip so far. With each book just a few weeks passes between books so less than 2 years have been covered. I have to admit that I'll keep reading them as long as she writes them.
