#69 Working Stiff by Rachel Caine

I have to admit I stopped reading the book for a while a few chapters in when the heroine dies.  This isn't a surprise since they mention it on the back cover that she dies. I had a few quibbles about frequency of the revival drug but the plot was all to realistic. The book is certainly darker than the Weather Warden books but was a really good story and I will be reading the next one.

I read the first Weather Warden book and remember enjoying most of it. Then with its ending the second book didnt feel at all like a sequel, more like another series and I just couldnt get into it and didnt even try
