With Lady Macon being very much with child she must deal with the rather unusual sittuation to make the rest of the supernatural comunity relaxed with the coming child. While dealing wiht relocating households into London proper a ghost contacts her to tell her the Queen is in danger Alexia tries to get the bottom of it. Add in all the usual players in the series craziness abounds and of course Alexia changes the status norm. A fun read and I will be sad to see them go after the next book.
